I’ve been wanting to write this review for awhile but just now I finally got the tools and parts to fix my window and I realized it was time for a review. In 2018 while I was broke in college, my air suspension was leaking and so I brought my bmw to them. I told them that both driver and passenger windows don’t work, so don’t roll the windows down. Well they rolled the driver window down and it got stuck. They ended up removing the driver door panel to bring the window back up and then they gave me a call. They said that since they had already taken the door panel off the might as well fix the window while they were at it. A $1.50 plastic clip was the reason the window was not functioning correctly. They still ended up charging full price for the repair when it was their mistake, it was around $500 for labor to do this repair. Immediately after I got the car back I could see this white glue through the window that they used to hold the door together. This was the first sign I saw or their botch job. The window repair lasted about 6 months before it broke again and air suspension is that they promised was oem bmw parts recently went bad again. They charged me just as much as bmw would have for the air suspension and supposedly even bought the parts straight fr bmw. I should have just gone there. I just took the door apart with no experience in 10 minutes and fixed the window. With the door taken apart I found how bad of a job the really did. The window clip fix had the wrong nut which is why the plastic broke so soon. There was a broken collar around the lock indicator, it’s gone now because it kept falling out. White glue holding the door seam together. The door handle light indicator was complete snapped off and even tucked away as if they tried to hide it. I had to glue it back. There were missing trim clips, mismatched trim clips, and missing clip seals to prevent vibration. I used to think highly of this Dr of motors, it was run by two brothers? Eventually one of them quit because of one of the brothers had terrible business ethics, overcharging, bad customer service, etc. I should have taken this as a sign when the good brother quit and not have taken my vehicle back. When I came for a very affordable smog check, I decided to have my oil changed. Instead of a wait to do both, I was given an appointment for the next day for the oil - and they were punctual!! Great service, great prices. Because I do my own air and cabin filters, they offered to check them at no charge, knowing that I would do any necessary work myself. Very generous.

I've taken my family vehicles to Doctor of Motors since 2010 and they have always been competent and truthful. Service is reasonably fast and the guys are friendly. I have noticed some reviewers complaining that Doctor of Motors tried to sell them additional services. Why? If you go the dentist, would you prefer that the dentist only fixes your current problem and NOT tell you about your other potential dental health issues? If you drive an older vehicle it probably has multiple things that need repair or maintenance. To their credit, Doctor of Motors will tell you about those things that could leave you inconvenienced or stranded. I've never felt any pressure to buy extra services; it's totally up to you, the customer. All in all, Doctor of Motors is a great shop that will take care of your auto repair needs. They were very fast in getting me an appointment the day after I called…service quick and everyone was very friendly! Pricing was as expected and absolutely no pressure for other services that weren’t needed! Had a great experience will definitely be back for necessary repairs and maintenance! We have an older vehicle (2010 Honda Accord) that we wanted to be sure was safe for our son to have as a first car. Robert was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. He kept us in the loop about what was needed and gave some advice we weren't aware of regarding brakes. Pricing was reasonable and our bill was nicely detailed. Will definitely come back for all future auto needs, including oil changes. Service: Brakes

I had a great experience and will definitely be going back. My a/c croaked on me and in this heat my main objective was getting it fixed fast. I called right before closing and they were able to get me in @ 9 am the next day. They were able to identify the problem's and fix them in 2 days. They were very friendly and the final price ended being less than there estimate.
