Took my toyota there when the water pump went out. Very reasonable price, had the parts in stock and finished the car same-day. Very nice staff and trusted. Will be going back for all my automotive repair needs.

Never go to this place you will regret it. I took my car in to fix 2 problems but they told me it had 4 problems and decided to fix them. But it turns out they didn't even fix the original 2 problems that I took it in for. They are worthless and just assume that it's one issue without being certain. I feel like they just want to scam you off of your money and avoid actually fixing your car. Never go to this place please avoid the dishonestly

I found them on Yelp and decided to walk in because they have 4-star reviews. That's the worst decision I have ever made! I wanted them to fix my headlights, which was customized by the previous owner but was not working shortly after I bought the car. They checked it for like 1 hour and told me that it was a potential fire hazard and quoted me for $870 something for fix it, not including the parts!!! And they refused to fix the wiring without replacing the whole headlamp to stock. They are ridiculous! I then had my friend looked at it and he said there's no way it would catch fire... I took it to another mechanic and they had it fixed for only $230 including the parts. I'm never gonna go back there again!

Took my Suby here for some pretty intense transmission work. They were super friendly and candid throughout the process and my car shifts beautifully. They also fixed my windshield wipers. Definitely recommended.

3 years ago they said they wouldn't advise me to continue driving my car even out of the shop with the clutch in such bad condition. I'd gone in for an oil change with free inspection. They gave me an estimate to replace the clutch close to $1k. Not being a Volvo shop, I got a 2nd opinion. They said the clutch was fine. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after finding that invoice recently, I'm not so charitable. Feel they may be perpetuating the auto repair stereotype, taking advantage of women.

Our daughter goes to Chico State and out of the blue, the alternator went out on her Honda Civic. All of the service on her vehicle has been done in Pleasanton, so we didn't have a clue where she should have AAA tow her car to. I hopped onto Yelp and it was an easy decision to have her car towed to the "Doctor." Was very satisfied with the service, communication and willingness to pick up my daughter when her car was ready so she didn't have to arrange for a ride. The price seemed fair and we will definitely use them again.

I got a very high estimate from them and they were very friendly until I wanted to get a second opinion. They really hassled me about going somewhere else, even when I told them I'd come back if it they were less. I did get the work done at an "expensive" shop for much less. They are nice, but much too expensive.

I went down the Esplanade, dropped my car off, I was dropped off at work, I was picked up, paid and left! They gave me a quote for all the things my car needs to have done and that was it...That was all i needed!!! Thank you guys:D

I have taken my Jeep here twice and have had mixed experiences. The first time was great. My 1996 Jeep Cheeroke was making a funny noise and the check engine light came out which really scared me. I was thinking my car was a goner and I was not going to drop over $500 to fix some engine problem. Miguel was great, told me exactly what was wrong and it only cost $250. My Jeep has ran great ever since. So when I needed an oil change and front/rear dif I decided to go back instead just a jiffy lube, but maybe I should have. The second time I made an appointment for 9am on Tuesday. I then wrote a review about the customer service and over pricing I felt from Dr. Motors and that evening when I picked up my car Brad had read my yelp review and was concerned about my dissatisfaction. I explained to him why my second experience at Dr. of Motors was disappointing and reassured me by reducing my bill by $60. He also showed me one of the suggested procedures for my car and explained why it would be necessary. I was very impressed with Brad's customer service and that he took the time to read my review. Dr. of Motors obviously values their customers and want to make sure we get a good experience every time, which is something hard to find in any business. Thank you so much for your personal attention and taking care of me and my car. I will definitely bring my jeep back!

You will not find better customer service. I promise. Great folks, great work. A mechanic you can trust.
